Free San Francisco BIKE Tour at 2 pm from FOX PLAZA
LETS BIKE From DOWNTOWN SAN FRANCISCO TO GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE AND BACK
Starts: 2.00 pm
Starting point: Fox Plaza Click here for Google Maps location.
Ends: 6.00 pm at the same place where we started (round trip)
How does the Free Tour Concept work? FREE stands for Freedom of Speech and at the same time it is a pay-as-you-wish tour. At the end you pay the guide as much as you feel the tour was worth it. This way everyone can join. Normal booking for an e-bike tour of 4h usually costs between $90-$120 per person. Here you can leave half of that and the guide will still be happy! It’s a win-win for everyone.

There is no better way of exploring hilly San Francisco than riding with e-bikes! We will start our journey from Fox Plaza right next to the Starbucks coffee shop. The guide will take out your e-bike and prepare you for the adventure. After everyone is ready we will start our journey through the beautiful neighborhood of Hayes Valley, going through Alamo Square to see the Painted Ladies and take some great photos. After that we’ll go through the Panhandle Park to make our way to the Golden Gate Park. This is the most beautiful park in the USA. 20% bigger than Central Park in New York! We will see the Conservatory of Flowers, Japanese Tea Garden, The California Academy of Sciences, make a restroom break if needed and then through the Rose garden between the ginormous Redwood trees we will leave the park and go to through 14 avenue to the Presidio Park so we can get to the base of the Golden Gate bridge.
The Golden Gate bridge is massive and needs a good preparation to ride across the bridge. This is why the guided tour is the best way to do it! Our guide will prepare you with special gear how to battle the cold winds of the Golden Gate bridge that go through the strait sometimes up to 49 mph! After we safely cross the bridge we will bike up to the most beautiful place to see the bridge. Take lots of photos, enjoy the views and then slowly get back on the Golden Gate bridge so we can start heading back. On our way back we will go through the Marina and the Palace of Fine Arts. This is one of the most beautiful structures in San Francisco. It looks like it’s taken from another world and another time. When everyone is ready we’ll continue to Lombard Street know that is famous for a particularly crooked, one-block section known as “the crookedest street in the world”. After Lombard we will continue to the San Francisco City Hall and end our tour at the same place where we started.
The tour takes 4 hours and it covers most of the iconic landmarks in the city.

Better doing this tour before everything else, so that you can actually use all the hints you're gonna receive! (or at least try;))
Leonardo ZFilip was awesome I really felt to learn to know the feeling of San Francisco.
Johannes GräterThis tour is a must. I learnt so much about San Francisco and are looking more of this type of tour
Tobias KinI had 4 walking tours with different companies. All the tours I had were good, but this one was the best! Filip, the guide, is really passionate about the city and is very good in conveying it.
Leonardo ZThank God for guys like Filip who love this City and love to share their experience & knowledge. I highly recommend this Tour before making other plans because he gives you lots of good tips to take full advantage of what SF has to offer.

No. The Free SF Tour happens rain or shine. Plus, it’s San Francisco – one minute it’s raining, the next you are enjoying glorious sunshine. Bring layers and nevermind the weather.
Of course the tour will happen! It’s just going to feel like a private tour with a knowledgeable, friendly guide all to yourself 🙂
It's a bit tight with parking spaces around Union Square, but you can still get lucky and park in the street. Alternatively, there are many convenient car parks in the Union Square vicinity. There’s an underground garage just under Union Square – you can’t get closer than that 🙂 Most charge around $6 per hour but you can find places for as low as $3-3.50. Check out this list of garages http://www.visitunionsquaresf.com/maps-parking-transportation (just click on "park" under the map).
Yes! The route is wheelchair- and stroller-friendly, and largely step-free. Despite the city’s famously hilly terrain, our tour is makes the most of flat streets in Downtown. There might be a ramp here and there, but nothing to worry about.
There are cashless options, yes. While we don't take credit cards directly, Paypal transfers are available. Also, Venmo app is growing in popularity among travelers.
