There are several ways to find the cheapest flight tickets:

  1. Use flight search engines: Flight search engines like Google Flights, Momondo, Skyscanner, and Kayak can help you compare prices across different airlines and dates to find the cheapest options.
  2. Book in advance: Booking flights well in advance (usually 2-3 months) can help you find the cheapest prices.
  3. Be flexible with your travel dates: If you can be flexible with your travel dates, you may be able to find cheaper flights. Avoid peak travel times like weekends and holidays, and consider traveling mid-week instead.
  4. Sign up for alerts: Sign up for email alerts from airlines and travel websites to be notified of sales and deals.
  5. Use frequent flyer miles and points: If you have frequent flyer miles or credit card points, you may be able to use them to save money on flights.
  6. Fly budget airlines: Consider flying with budget airlines, which often offer cheaper flights but may have fewer amenities or charge extra fees for things like checked baggage and food.
  7. If you are already in a foreign country and you want to fly locally, there are some small airlines that only fly to a few places for a ridiculously cheap amount, like Wizzair and Ryanair for Europe and Flybondi for S. America, but you need to make a deep search to find them.  If you’re in that country for the first time try going on a free walking tour because the tour guides know them.
  8. Check alternative airports: Consider flying into or out of alternative airports, which may have lower fees and taxes than major airports.
  9. One of my personal favorites is following the reset in the booking system of the platforms that sell them. Sometimes if you’re lucky, when a big bulk of tickets that were reserved but didn’t get sold comes back the next week and drops the price because there is much more supply of tickets on the platform than usual while the demand stays the same. So try to look for tickets on Saturdays. That’s my favorite day for buying flight tickets! 🙂

By using these tips, you can increase your chances of finding the cheapest flight tickets.

We wish you safe travels!
